Vatech 3D CBCT Systems

CBCT systems are typically categorized by three FOV groups: small, medium, and large. And, keep in mind, with Vatech your medium and large FOV cone beam dental systems can collimate down to achieve smaller FOV sizes, when needed.

- Small FOV CBCT typically captures a 5 x 5 cm scan to capture fine details. A small FOV dental cone beam system is the right choice for you if you only need to view one or two teeth at a time and is best suited for endodontics and single implant treatments.
- Medium FOV CBCT typically captures an 8 x 8 cm scan or similar for single or dual arch applications, and is the most common CBCT size based on its versatility. - Large FOV starts around 13-15 cm and can go as large as 17-23 cm. Vatech A9

Vatech Smart Plus
The Vatech Smart Plus is an innovative medium FOV CBCT offering its unique One Viewer feature: providing you a CT and Auto Pan image in a single scan.

This scan has two CBCT capture settings at 5x5 cm and 10x8.5 cm (Anatomical 12x9 cm), making it ideal for a wide variety of clinical applications.
The Vatech Smart Plus also offers advanced features like its compressed sensing technology. This feature dramatically improves 3D image quality using reconstruction technology.
Additionally, the Smart Plus features an Extended Arch Shaped FOV (see figure below for illustration sample). This FOV of the Smart Plus provides an arch-shaped volume, which shows a wider view of dentition, compared to other devices with the same FOV.

Vatech Large FOV CBCT Models
Vatech Green CT 2
The Vatech Green CT 2 has a nice range of selectable FOV sizes for nearly any clinical application. The Multi FOV allows the user to pick the optimal FOV mode and decreases exposure to regions that are not of interest. The proper size is determined based on the specific diagnostic need (18x10, 16x9, 13x10, 12x9, 8x9, and 5x5).

As a large FOV CBCT, the Vatech Green CT 2 is ideal for oral surgery cases, as well as implant surgeries, and any diagnosis and treatment requiring a view of the full arch region, sinus, and left/right TMJ.

The Vatech Green X the 3rd generation Vatech Green product on the market. Like the Vatech Green CT 2, the Vatech Green X offers a range of selectable fields of view. The selection includes the following FOV sizes for diagnostic needs: 18x15, 16x11, 12x9, 8x8, 8x5, 5x5 and 4x4.

The Vatech Green X is an evolution of the Vatech Green family of CBCT models, also providing the 4-in-1 imaging capabilities of the Vatech Green CT 2 and providing the highest resolution 0.05MM voxel size.
As such, this model is also ideal for endodontics. With its 4cm x 4cm volume mode and 50 micron voxel size, the Endo mode will optimize treatment of highly-focused regions of interest. It is ideal for endodontic use because the dentist is able to achieve an extraordinary image in a high-resolution voxel size.
Vatech 2D Imaging Only (Panoramic & Cephalometric)
