Introducing DESS® OEM-Compatible Dental Implants at Voxel Dental

Voxel Dental has always focused on more than individual pieces of equipment. We help practices connect technology into complete digital workflows—from CBCT and intraoral scanning to photogrammetry, 3D printing, milling, design and full-arch dentistry.

Now, we're adding another critical piece to that workflow.

Voxel Dental is proud to introduce DESS® Dental Implants, bringing a comprehensive implant and restorative ecosystem to the Voxel product portfolio.

With implant systems compatible with several of the industry's most widely used connections, DESS gives clinicians an opportunity to expand their implant options while continuing to work within familiar surgical, restorative and digital workflows.

Why DESS?

DESS has built its reputation around implant prosthetics and compatible restorative solutions. Its portfolio spans the digital and restorative implant workflow, including Ti bases, scan bodies, multi-unit abutments, healing components and other solutions used by clinicians and dental laboratories.

The expansion into implants brings those pieces together into a more complete ecosystem.

For Voxel customers, that's an especially natural fit. Rather than looking at the implant as a standalone product, we can help practices think about the entire workflow surrounding the implant—from diagnosis and planning through placement, immediate provisionalization and the definitive restoration.

Familiar Connections. A New Implant Option.

One of the biggest barriers to adopting another implant system is everything surrounding the implant itself.

Clinicians become familiar with particular connections and surgical protocols. Practices invest in instrumentation. Restorative teams establish repeatable processes. Laboratories build workflows around specific components and digital libraries.

DESS takes a different approach with implant systems designed around established connections.

The initial Voxel lineup includes three systems:

DESS® ONE MORSE — compatible with Neodent® Grand Morse
DESS® Active Hex — compatible with NobelActive® CC
DESS® Conical BLT — compatible with Straumann® Bone Level

That means clinicians can select a system based on the connection and workflow that best fits their practice rather than adopting an entirely unfamiliar restorative ecosystem.

Straumann® Bone Level (1)

DESS® ONE MORSE

Designed for compatibility with the Neodent® Grand Morse connection, DESS ONE MORSE provides a versatile option for clinicians familiar with the GM ecosystem.

The system supports treatment ranging from individual implant restorations to multi-unit and full-arch cases, with access to a broad family of compatible restorative and digital components.

For practices already working within a Grand Morse workflow, ONE MORSE provides a straightforward way to introduce DESS implants while maintaining a familiar restorative connection.

DESS® Active Hex

DESS Active Hex is designed for compatibility with the NobelActive® CC connection and features a tapered implant body engineered to support primary stability.

Its design makes Active Hex particularly relevant for clinicians working across conventional, immediate and full-arch implant workflows.

Combined with DESS restorative components, Active Hex gives clinicians a path from implant placement through digital impression, provisionalization and definitive restoration within one broader ecosystem.

DESS® Conical BLT

For clinicians familiar with Straumann® Bone Level workflows, DESS Conical BLT provides a bone-level tapered implant option compatible with the Straumann® Bone Level connection.

Its tapered implant design and conical restorative connection provide a versatile foundation for a range of restorative indications, while the larger DESS component portfolio supports the workflow beyond implant placement.

The result is another option for clinicians who want to maintain familiarity with an established connection while expanding the implant solutions available to their practice.

From MUA to MUA+

Full-arch dentistry is also a major part of the DESS story.

The implant systems are supported by multi-unit abutments (MUAs) in straight and angled configurations, giving clinicians options for establishing a common restorative platform across implants with different positions and trajectories.

DESS also offers MUA+, its next-generation multi-unit solution featuring an anatomical emergence profile designed around soft-tissue transition and contemporary full-arch workflows.

With multiple gingival heights, straight and angled configurations, and supporting digital and restorative components, the MUA platform helps connect implant placement with the immediate and definitive restorative workflow.

More Than an Implant

This is where the DESS partnership fits particularly well with Voxel.

Modern implant dentistry doesn't begin or end with implant placement. A full digital workflow can involve:

CBCT and treatment planning → intraoral scanning → guided surgery → implant placement → MUA selection → photogrammetry → digital design → 3D-printed provisional → definitive restoration

Voxel already helps practices build many of these workflows.

Adding DESS implants and restorative components allows us to connect even more of those steps through a single team.

For a practice exploring full-arch treatment, that can mean having a resource not only for implants and MUAs, but also for the imaging, scanning, photogrammetry, design, printing, milling and training surrounding them.

Start with the Implant. Build the Entire Workflow.

The launch of DESS Dental Implants at Voxel represents more than adding another product category.

It's another step toward helping practices build complete digital workflows.

Whether you're already working with Neodent® Grand Morse, NobelActive® CC or Straumann® Bone Level—or you're evaluating a new implant system for your practice—the DESS portfolio provides new options while maintaining connections clinicians already know.

And with Voxel behind the workflow, you don't have to stop at the implant.
