WHO IS Taglus?

Taglus is a prominent player in the dental industry, specializing in the manufacture of innovative thermoplastic sheets used for dental aligners and retainers. The company leverages cutting-edge technology to produce materials that meet high aesthetic and functional standards. Taglus operates a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-registered and ISO-certified facility, ensuring that their products comply with international quality standards.

Taglus also emphasizes rigorous testing and quality control to ensure the safety and effectiveness of their products. Their materials undergo extensive mechanical and biocompatibility tests to meet ISO 10993 standards.

Taglus Autoforming Plastics are high-performance thermoplastic sheets engineered to meet the stringent demands of dental professionals. These materials are designed for use in vacuum and pressure thermoforming machines, enabling the creation of clear aligners and retainers with exceptional properties.

Taglus Premium, Tuff, and PU Flex have been an incredible product line for our customers at Voxel.

Taglus Tuff is by far our most popular in-house retainer material.  Due to its durability, offices are using this 030-thickness material for patient retainers.  It is an easy transition for patients coming from aligner treatment who are used to 030 thickness material and so much easier for lab techs to cut and post process.  Our other popular option for retainers is our 040 x 125mm Taglus Premium option.

Key Taglus plastics available today include:

  1. Taglus PU(polyurethane) Flex Aligner Material has elastomeric qualities and flexural modulus perfect for aligner cases, leading to improved case tracking and a more enjoyable patient experience. With industry leading clarity and comfortable fit, Taglus PU Flex is the next step in plastic thermoforming technology. We offer Taglus PU Flex with two sizes .030x124mm round and .040x125mm round starting at $350/box - available for purchase directly through the Voxel store.
  2. Taglus PU FlexFor retainers, we recommend Taglus TUFF. Taglus TUFF is a leading retainer material for crack-resistant durability, patient comfort and aesthetic clarity. TUFF's durability and shape memory make it ideal for both retention and aligner tooth movements in the .030 thickness. We offer Taglus TUFF .030x124mm round for $169/box - available for purchase directly through the Voxel store.
